Behind the lens
A photographer shaped by service, family, and the Northwest.
Christopher Scheckla's passion for photography began while serving in the Navy and grew through years of travel, education, and life in Southwest Washington.
Chris's lifetime passion for photography began in the Navy, where travel offered new places and perspectives to photograph. After seven years of honorable service, he settled in the Vancouver area with his wife and daughter.
His experience spans portraits, live events, professional profiles, and marketing imagery for real estate. A military tour in Iraq, college study that included professional photography classes, and the perspective of becoming a father have all shaped the way he approaches the work.
“Let Chris work with you to capture a moment in time or a special place that speaks to you.”
